Group Fun at the Club

Consider group lawn bowling for your next corporate team-building event, birthday party, family reunion or social event. Lawn bowling is a fun, light-impact sport enjoyed around the world by people from ten to 110 years of age. All you need is a pair of flat-soled shoes. That’s it! It doesn’t get much easier than that.

You Create the Guest List, We Do the Rest

Groups receive:

• a lawn bowling lesson
• bowls (balls) to use at the event
• exclusive use of the facility for a weekday afternoon or weekend.

And the best part—we do all the set-up for you. We can accommodate groups of up to eighty people at our facility at the Saugeen Shores Lawn Bowling Club, 34 Victoria Street, N. Southampton, Ontario (across from the Bruce County Museum).

A Few Details:

Parking is usually available beside the lawn bowling greens. There is no cost to use the parking facilities.

Weather: Hopefully it will be blue skies when you bowl with us. If it rains you have two options—play in the rain or reschedule. We’ll do our best to reschedule your event soon after the original date but again, we’re at the mercy of the weather and other events in our calendar.

Food & Drinks: Access to our club house for catered meals is available for a fee of $25.00. We set up tables and chairs based on your needs, and facilities are air conditioned. You or your caterer are responsible for food and cleanup (containers are provided for garbage/waste). Use of the club house is for one hour either prior to or after your team-building event. Our facility is licensed and therefore outside alcohol is not allowed. Our bar is available during your event, but must be booked in advance.

Clothing: Please advise your group members to wear flat-soled shoes (very important) and comfortable clothing.

Cost:  The fee is $200.00 for up to twenty people, and an additional $10 per person above twenty people. This fee includes a two-hour greens rental, use of the club bowls and instruction on how to bowl. Payment options: e-transfer, cheque or cash.  It is to be paid prior to the event and there is a waiver that needs to be signed.
